Small-town backyard weddings might just be my favorite.

Lindsey and Chris got married on the property of their 1880s homestead beneath a canopy of beautiful old trees and string lights, and it was every bit as magical as it sounds.

Family friends smoked meat outside and grilled hors doeuvres throughout the afternoon. The day was relaxed and unhurried. The wedding was officiated by friends who were celebrating their very own 50th wedding anniversary <3 And at the end of the night, Lindsey and the women in her family circled up to sing “Rosemary’s Granddaughter” in honor of her grandma Rosemary.

It was such a fun and special celebration, and I’m so very glad that I got to be a part of it.
